AVON MARK Product Review: mark Calming Effect Comforting Milk Cleanser

I keep forgetting to mention AVON's Mark product line.  So! To make up for it, here's one of my favourite MARK productsMark Calming Effect Comforting Milk Cleanser.

I like the way it goes on, how it foams and I like the smell which comes from the combo of milk, banana and oat milk.  It's really nice.

It's also gentle and leaves your face feeling clean and refreshed.  Unlike a few other cleansers I've used with AVON, this one doesn't leave my face feeling tight and dry.

If you have sensitive skin - this is an excellent buy for only $7.

Click here and check it out along with a look at all the other excellent MARK products.

Catch ya later!

AVON Product Review: Foot Works Big Beautiful Deal!

I intended do a post comparing several of AVON's face cleansers, but then I saw this great deal today and I couldn't pass it up!

Here's a list of what you get and then I'll tell you what I think:

Deep Moisture Cream
Double Action Foot File
Deluxe Touch Toenail Clipper
Deoderizing Foot Powder
Thermal Exfoliating Scrub

I absolutely love the Deep Moisture Cream. I use it every day. It feels so good when you're massaging it into your feet. If you're someone like me whose feet hurt a lot - pick this up. You're bound to love it.

It also works great at keeping the feet nice and smooth!

I also like the Deluxe Touch Toenail Clipper. It took me a bit to get used but once I did I fell in love with them. The padded handle is nice and keeps it from slipping out of your hand.

The Deodorizing Foot Powder is also great!

The only things I haven't had experience with are th Foot File and Exfoliating Scrub. BUT! And I emphasize that big but! I do use AVON's other foot scrubs and love them. They do wonders for your feet and again, the massage feels great.

So get in on this excellent deal! The whole gaboodle is only $10 for a limited time. It would regularly cost you $21.45.

On a side note - this also makes an excellent gift for someone you know who's on their feet a lot. Everyone likes a wee bit of pampering. :]

So hop over to the shop and check it out! You're feet will love you for it! :]

Until tomorrow!

AVON Product Review: Dramatic Firming Cream

AVON Product Review: Dramatic Firming Cream

Yesterday I said I picked up AVON Solutions Nurtura Replenishing Cream. I also picked up AVON Solutions Dramatic Firming Cream to compare the two.

The Dramatic Firming Cream, another name that makes those of us turning 50 sound like we're the 2000 year old woman, has a nice satiny feel and pleasant smell to it. It goes on nice. The firming kicks straight in and your face feels pretty tight.

I'm not as crazy about it as I am the Nurtura Replenishing Cream. It doesn't keep my face as moisturised as the Nurtura. Don't get me wrong, I like it - just not as well.

So what's in it that makes your face firmer, improves elasticity and resilience? Vitamin E, carrot, apricot and arnica oil. AVON says you'll notice the above in 4 weeks. I haven't done the 4 week test yet, because I keep going back to Nurtura. I can say Nurtura makes a difference.

Anyway! AVON Solutions Dramatic Firming Cream scores 4.5 outa 5 five stars. Head over and check out the comments! You'll be surprised that for a cream that only costs $8.50 ($4.99 on sale at the time of this writing with a buy one get one for $1.99) at how many women in their 50's use it and get great results!

Make it a great day!

AVON Product Review: Nurtura Replenishing Cream

Nurtura Replenishing Cream

Just a note before you read on. Remember that every person's skin type is different and that not all creams respond the same with every one who uses them.

Having said that! On with the show! Being an AVON rep I try to test out as many AVON products that I can. Sometimes I use test guinea pigs (my regular customers) to test products for me. Today's product I tested myself.

I've avoided AVON Solutions Nurtura Replenishing Cream for one good reason - it costs a pathetic $8.00. That screams cheap and worthless to me. I like the AVON's nicer stuff, like ANEW Alternative Intensive Age Treatmentt. It costs $32. I like that number.

For night, I'll use either ANEW Retroactive Youth Extending Cream ($27) or ANEW Force Extra Triple Lifting Night Cream (a real insulting name for those of us pushing 50 - lol) at a cheaper $22.

But! AVON had a great deal on the product and I decided why not! So, the product comes, I look at the container and laugh. The container screams "CRAP!!!" It's cheap! It looks cheap! It feels cheap! It's cheap! It's CRAP!!!!

My mom came for a visit. I held it out to her and we both laughed at it.

Once all the laughter died down, I tried it on. I immediately loved the feel. It was thick and creamy and almost a satiny soft to it. Ok. I'm impressed a little.

I put it on my face. It went on soft and smooth. It didn't feel heavy, but nice and soothing. Ok! So, it passed that test, but I was certain within the next few hours my super dry skin would begin to crack and fall off as usual. The hours passed - nothing. hmm.....let's try this baby at night.

The next morning I awoke to find my skin was still soft. Not a dry spot on it. That doesn't happen with either of my ANEW products. I always wake up with dry patches. hmm....maybe AVON cheap isn't so cheap after all!

Lesson learned: Appearances don't always reflect what's on the inside.

I've been using Nurtura Replenishing Cream for several weeks now. I use it both day and night and am loving the results!

How do other customers feel about it? Out of 72 customer reviews Nurtura Replenishing Cream gets 4.8 stars outa 5!

So, go check it out for yourself! Read the reviews and give it a shot! Bet you'll end up as surprised as I did!

Make it a great day!

AVON Product Review: Unisex Slipper w/Memory Foam

A little while ago I slipped across the drive to my mom's house.  On the way back I stepped in her Taco Bell dog's crap.  It was one of those moments when I wanted to squish the little "tea cup" himself under my foot.

Anyway, the shoes that got to experience the squish was my beloved memory foam slippers.  I love these babies.  The sole really is made for outside as well as in.  The inside is nice and comfy and as the name says - the memory foam conforms to your foot.

They're also easy to clean (with the exception of the soles when you step in doggie crap) with a damp cloth.

So, if you're looking for a great comfy gift for under $20 - you're looking at it!

AVON Product Review: Lighted Snowman & Friends Fountain

I love snowmen, especially making them and freezing my little fingers to the bone. Just looking at this little Lighted Snowman & Friends Fountain makes me shiver.

Anyway, there's a couple problems I see with this fountain. For one - kids can come up with all sorts of things about the water falling. For instance, "Hey mom! Look! The snowman's peeing!" or "Hey Mom! The penguins are peeing!" or "Man! Frosty's armpits stink!" You know, the sort of things your kids only say when you have company. :]

The other is it's an evil little invention that's cruel to people with a lack of bladder control: pregnant women, women in menopause and old folks. If one insists on having a little fountain like this, I suggest keeping a box of Depends on hand.

Aside from the side-effects! It's adorable! The lights change from purple to blue, green and red. It's fun to watch and keeps little kids entertained. It's 8" high, sound-activated light up and it makes the water sparkle.

The advantages of this little table water fountain are:

1. The snowman doesn't melt!

2. He will never experience the dreaded "yellow snow" decoration added by your neighbours dog.

3. The penguins are housebroken.

So there you have it! Head over to the store and check it! Order one for yourself! or! Order one as a gift for someone else!

And! As a special treat for stopping by, click here to download today's free "Frosty's Word Search" puzzle. Can you find the secret message hidden somewhere among the letters? Download begins on click. Make copies and pass it around!

AVON Product Review: Suede Fringe Moccasin Slipper

What's more comfortable then a good pair of moccasin slippers

Moccasins are one of my favourite shoes.  I got my first pair in New Mexico.  Indians sold there goods to tourists getting off the train.  I was one of those happy tourists.  It was a little kids dream.

My next pair, not bought in NM, laced up the front and came just below my knees.  I loved those things.  Then sadly, one day they bit the dust.

These moccasins, on the other hand, are a lot more comfortable than my old ones that were made to wear outside and made you look roughly like Daniel Boone.

These are ladies moccasins and designed for comfort and to keep your feet nice and warm with their cozy faux shearling lining.  Run your fingers over the soft genuine suede and you can feel yourself start to relax.  :]

Want to hear an even better part?  Right now AVON is having a shoe sale and you can get 2 pairs for $19.98! OR!  You can buy one pair and pay $17.99.  I'd go for the 2 pairs.  :]

So, here's the link!  Head over to the store and place your order for a bit of footy comfort!  Don't forget they also make great gifts!

Happy shopping!

AVON Product Review: Pooh & Tigger Cuddle Pillows

I wonder who would win if I posted a poll of who is your favourite in Pooh's friends? My vote is for Tigger. I like Tigger even better than I like Pooh! Tigger is just cool! He bounces! He pounces! He's annoying! He's awesome!

Anyway! AVON has both these little guys as oversized (27") cuddly pillows. They're soft and make great nap buddies for your 3 year old and up! They can also only be bought at AVON.

Hop over to my online store and pick up these special little buddies for your kids or grandkids to snuggle. Picture their happy little faces - how can you resist? :]

AVON product review for the klutz in your life!

We have a friend who just can't seem to stop hitting the wall of her garage when backing in. It's like the wall is a car magnet and sucks the car back to it every trip!

Her son eventually broke down and bought her one of these. Now she only hits the wall on occasion!

Hitting the wall when you have a flashing sign isn't the norm. Our friend has an excuse. She's in her 80's and only 4' 9". She's lucky she can see over the steering wheel, so imagine her backing up! Just the thought makes me want to run.

So, here you go. If you have a wall magnet stationed at the back of your garage that insists on kissing your car or you know of someone who does - welcome to the perfect gift!

The sign is 5" and it stands 47", which is just a foot shorter than our friend!

AVON Product Review: Walkie Talkie for Kids

When I was little, I was so excited that there was such a thing as walkie talkies for kids. They were like the perfect toy for spying on our parents, spying on my brother with my foster-brother Rusty and all kinds of mischief.

Of course, back then there was no such thing as a "pink" version. Ours was camo, bulky, but still really cool! Now they're small and all kinds of colours.

The one AVON carries is from Cyber Gear. They work up to 1000 feethave a hook for attaching to a belt or bag and use one 9V battery, which isn't included. A small button-cell battery, which is included is for the digital clock on the front.

By the way, a kids walkie talkie isn't just for kids to communicate back and forth and have really cool adventures, they're also great for keeping track of your kids when you're out and about! Plus! Walkie talkies are more fun to use outside rather than in, so if you have a hard time getting your kids away from the TV - this should help you out!

With that in mind, click here to check it out and order one today!

PS: If you have really little kids, click here for a free downloadable toy guide that gives you 4 tips for choosing safe and timeless toys Downloading will begin as soon as you click the link.

If you don't have little kids but know of someone who does, send them here so they can get their own copy!

Talk about a way to keep your kids from breaking into the piggy bank to see how much there is!  Now the plastic piggy bank does the counting for you!

Children's piggy banks by tradition, are a great way to teach kids about saving money, whether to buy something for themselves or to save up to help someone else.

The electronic version makes kids want to save even more because it's fun to put their coins in and watch the numbers change!

It makes a terrific gift for your kids and not one that will get tossed to the side.

AVON Product Review: Digital Weather Stations.

Title: AVON Product Review: Digital Weather Stations.

I love having a digital weather station, especially on cold days like today. It's fun getting up in the morning hitting the memory button and seeing the low for the night. Despite the fact it makes me shiver it's still fun.

Aside from the fun of tracking temps and humidity levels, I think digital weather stations that track outdoor temps should be in every household that still has little kids going to school. It ends guessing how to dress your little ones in the morning. Sure you can open the door and see how it feels but knowing actual temp can change everything.

There's also the benefit of knowing the humidity levels indoor and out. How? For some women, like my mom, it let's you know how much hairspray you need to keep it from falling flat.

For those of us with asthma, it tells us what the odds are of us having an asthma attack outside.

If you're a runner, humidity levels let you know whether right now is a good time to run. The temp may be low, but humidity levels can really take their toll on a run. In fact, runners have been known to be hospitalised and even die because they didn't pay attention to the humidity.

You can't always go by feeling because feeling isn't accurate.

Indoor humidity levels determine the growth of mold and mildew in the house. That's another reason people with asthma and allergies need to know the indoor humidity levels - mold and mildew are bad for your health and exacerbate the problem. By the way, it doesn't matter whether you have allergies and asthma or not - mold and mildew will make you sick.

Enough reasons why you need to buy a weather station. Weather stations come in a wide variety of price ranges. Each weather station has it's own unique features. AVON offers you the essentials at a terrific price: $14.99.

It monitors temperature and humidity levels indoor and out. Has an alarm clock, calendar and a moon phase calendar. You can mount it on a wall or use the base stand for on your desk. The size is: 7.25" H x 3.25" W. The sensor cord is 6'3" long.

Anyway, talk about a terrific gift! Tracking the weather is not only a fun hobby and a great way to teach your kids about the way the seasons change, but it can also help you take care of your families health.

FAMILY FUN TIP:

Check out the Weather Channel for Kids! It's a cool interactive site with a special guide for parents with links to activities you can do with your kids!

Fancy Cat Beds!

Cats spend about 16 hours a day sleeping. They love warm secure spots such as: fancy cat beds, boxes, your bed (there's 3 on mine right now), your favourite chair, couch (I see another one curled up.) or some other place you told them to stay off.

AVON'S faux shearling pet bed makes both a secure and warm place for them to crash.  It has a removable sleep pad - an absolute must for any pet owners sanity.  The bottom and outer sides are made of sturdy canvas and it's total measurement is: 20" L x 6" H x 14" D.

This cozy bed makes an excellent gift for your pet!  So, head over to AVON and grab one now!  Use my special coupon code to get FREE shipping with any order:  FSANY

My Top 2 TIPS for getting your cat to sleep in it's own bed and not yours:

1.  Put something you wear in the bed.  Make sure the item was worn recently.

Cats see you as a surrogate parent and sleep on your bed because it smells like you and it makes them feel secure. So, by putting something of yours in it's bed it will be more willing to sleep there.

2.  Park it close to a heater, but not so close that it might catch fire.

PS: The owner of this site has 7 cats, plus one stray.  There are cats sleeping everywhere.  Want some fleas?

AVON Product Review: SSS Winter Soft with Hydroseal Hand Cream

Skin So Soft Winter Soft with Hydroseal Hand Cream

This is my favourite out of all the AVON hand creams. I wash my hands a lot because of living on a farm, so my hands tend to stay dry and yucky.

This stuff has been a lifesaver! It's very thick. It stays on. I don't have to keep applying it. It holds up well when you wash your hands and I love the creamy texture. It's also excellent protection against harsh winter drying and cracking.

It's overall customer rating is 4.9 stars outa 5. Plus, 90% of the customers who have tried it would recommend it to a friend.

As far as the negative review, the person said it's "dry and clumpy." Not exactly sure how a hydroseal complex can be dry and clumpy, but that's what they thought.

Anyway, one person mentioned that it leaves a greasy feel, and to some it does. If you're familiar with the Silicone glove though - it's not even close to that kind of feel.

A few customers don't like the smell but most, including myself love it.

Best of all! It's only $4.00! You can't beat it! So, do your hands a favour and click here to make them happy. It's an excellent deal!

AVON Product Review! MT Restorative Rescue Balm

Moisture Therapy Restorative Rescue Balm

My mom is the basis for this review. She has a tough time with dry hands (naturally I'd inherit that trait) and comes over frequently to see what I have in my AVON box.

The last time she came I happened to have the above hand cream in stock. She fell in love with it! It's the only one of the AVON hand lotions she's used so far that has helped her 74 year old sierra desert hands and she's tried about everything AVON has.

Since she liked it so well, she's been telling everyone about it that comes through the door. They like it so well they get into hers and now she's run out and not happy that I don't have any extra on the shelf. As a result, I'll be ordering extras this campaign.

Aside from my mom, what do other people think about it? How about 10 out of 11 people would recommend it to a friend! It gets a 4.6 out of 5 stars! It would have gotten 5 stars, but one woman didn't like the way it smelled and another thinks the MT Intensive is better.

So there you have it! Give it a try and see what you think! Get both and do your own comparison! And don't forget to check out the other Moisture Therapy products! There's body lotions and even lip balm!

There's a mouse in the house!

It's the Mickey Knit Sleep Tee and Sleep Pant

I splurged this past campaign and ordered me a set.  They're to die for.  Super comfortable, has side pockets and a really nice wide elastic waist band.

Since they're unisex the pants are nice and long.  I love that because I hate my pant legs sneaking up my legs in the middle of night.

Comes in sizes small to XXL.  Cost is $19.99 each.

Anyway, it's a terrific gift for the Mickey fan!  So, head over now and buy a pair before they run out and it ends up on back order.  Yip, back order.

Not kidding.  Not a sneaky sales pitch either.  Last year a good number of my things ended up on back order because customers waited too late to order - my mom was one of them.  She got stuck about 4 times, with two gifts not arriving until January.  So, it really does happen.

Also!  The AVON version of kinoki pads is still out there. Remember don't buy them.  See my review here.

Yo's Product Review: AVON's Portable Tool Pouch Set

AVON's Portable Tool Pouch Set (328-675) is one of my favourites in the AVON gadget line.  Sure I have my big toolbox in my storage room, but frankly, it's a pain in the neck to go running to the back of the cottage and sorting through my tools to find what I want.

I keep this little begger on the bookshelf by my desk.  It's the perfect location because most of what needs repaired or have it's batteries replaced is in my corner office.

Replacing batteries is the big thing.  It used to be practically any small head Phillips screwdriver would do to open the battery compartment - not anymore.  Most of the gadgets I have require the mini size.

Then there's the other odds and ends of working on electrical items requiring wiring and stuff.  Once more, everything I need is conveniently in this little kit.

BTW, don't let the small size of the tools fool you.  Most jobs don't require large tools and these get the job done.

Anyway, the kit contains all your essentials tools:

Needle-nose Pliers
Tool Bit Set
Cutter Pliers
Socket Extension
Mini Screwdriver Set
Tape Measure
Hex Bolt Set and a Ratchet Tool Handle

Soft fabric pouch measures: 6 1/2" x 5 3/4".  Perfect size for drawers and your car's glove box!

Makes an excellent gift for dad's, mom's - everyone!  Well, slight exaggeration there.  I mean, not really everyone.  After all, babies would be a bad idea since they like to chew and swallow things, but otherwise!  Hey!  Great gift for everyone else!  :]

Make it a great day!

AVON's Version of Kinoki pads - My stinky review!

I was going to write a post on the AVON version of kinoki pads, but this guy has done such an excellent job on Kinoki pads themselves, that there's really no point in me writing anything.

BUT, I'll throw in my two cents worth anyway.

I field tested the AVON version of Kinoki and this is what I learned:

1. They stink like a sewer when you pull them off your feet.

2. Your feet are left sticky and stinky afterward and it's a bear to get it off.

3. They don't work. At the end of 3 days, my pads were even darker than the first. As you can see from my day 3 pic.

Sadly, these are not "scratch n' sniff " or you too could enjoy the delightful aroma of AVON's version of Kinoki pads! (evil laugh)

In summary: Don't waste your money.

Now, click here to read why these beggers don't work.

BTW, unlike the Kinoki commercials, AVON DOES NOT make the same claims. In fact, AVON makes no claims of any sort, the product is merely offered.

Make it a great day!

Skin care, the main focus is the face...

Have you ever noticed how when it comes to skin care the main focus is the face? What about the rest of our body?

I came across a post this morning that was on to the same thing. The post basically says we let the rest of our body take care of itself since "it is not seen by the world outside."

Truth is, it doesn't matter whether it's seen or not, every part of our body needs to be nourished with oils of some sort.

The post suggests nourishing it with oils at least once a week.

I've found doing it three times a week with Skin So Soft has really made an improvement in my skin. No more itching and scratching and my legs don't have that flakey cracked look anymore.

Anyway, to read more click the link below!

Welp! I spent a lot of time tracking down links for today's article on blister treatment and prevention only to find blogger wouldn't accept my rich text doc and canceled all my links. Nasty beastie. So! Because I refuse to re-do the whole thing so blogger likes it, I turned it into a two page pdf. :]

So click here to read today's spew on blisters! :]

Stinky Feet

You're at a road race. Your first. You're sweating with excitement. Just as you pull your running shoes out of the duffle bag, the handsomest guy you've ever seen stops dead in his tracks in front of you, gets a funny grin on his face and passes out.

No, he didn't faint because of your incredible good looks, your sexy smile, it was - the curse of the stinky feet.

Stinky feet may be good for clearing your sinuses on a really bad day, but it's mostly just embarrassing.

Sometimes stinky feet is associated with athletes feet and bacteria, but you don't have to have athletes feet to make your nose hairs fall out. All you need is a lot of sweat, which creates bacteria to the point your socks are damp in your shoes and waaa laaa - all your friends are gagging.

So, here's some tips to save you the embarrassment!

1. Keep your footsies clean and go barefoot when you're home. Let them babies have some air.

2. Don't wear socks to bed. My grandma did and her feet smelled like Limberger cheese.

3. Fill up a little tub of cool water with about 6 green tea tea bags and let 'em soak. Green tea helps reduce odour.

4. Put deoderant on your feet! (don't use the same stick or roll on you're using under your arms - that's disgusting.)

My personal favourite is using Foot Works Odor Neutralizing Spray. This stuff is good. It works for me anyway. There's a huge difference when I don't wear it - my cats run about the house wearing mini-gas masks.

One of my favourites after a run is Avon Foot Works Cooling Foot Lotion in Watermelon. It not only cools but watermelon smells a lot better than the alternative.

Avon has a number of excellent foot care products you should check out. They have everything from corn and callus removers to anti-fungal foot spray and the prices are excellent!

To see their entire foot care product line, go to: AVON and enter "foot works" in the search.

It's the Tahitian Bronzer Review!

So AVON comes up with this really cool idea to have an all over bronzer with a built in lip and cheek tint. The thing is, this isn't really my sort of item. So! A couple friends in Kentucky (who didn't marry their cousins) offered to field test them for me!

Now here's an example how Murphy's Law can rule. I'd planned on recording the review over Skype using Pamela (a program that records Skype calls). But nothing worked out. THEN!!! I discovered she had sent me an email with her review and I just now found it! How did I miss it, you ask? It's called the curse of switching from Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail. Somewhere along the line not everything transfered like I thought it did.

Anyway! So, here's Di's unedited email review!

Hi Yo,

I am testing the bronzer today. WOW it really does bronze!! It is a really nice color on me and my face was lighter than my arms so I just used it on my face, no place else. I do like the colored part of the product too, I put a little on my cheeks and it blends in very easily and looks pretty natural. I tried it for a lip color and it is really pretty, not a color I would normally pick but it does look nice and very feminine. The bronzer dried quickly but not so quickly that I couldn't spread it around with my fingers. It didn't leave my face sticky either like I thought it might. I did use it over my super dooper moisturizer.

So, so far so good, I like it. I'll have to see what Amy thinks of it.

More later,
Di

And there you go! The intro special is $4.99, so grab it now while it's still dirt cheap! :]

Make it a great one!
Yo

Coming Attractions!

Hey guys!

Hope everyone had a great day!

I was supposed to record a product review chat with my field testers in Kentucky, but that fell through when my mom asked if I needed a ride to the store for food - of which I did. So, food won out over a product review. Yeah, I know. I need to get my priorities straight.

Anyway! Di and I plan on doing the chat tomorrow sometime and if I can get Pamela to record Skype properly, I should have it posted in no time flat! :]

The next review after that one is a biggie!!! I'm doing my own take on Avon's Curves Pedometer! That's one video you won't want to miss!

Meanwhile, make it a great night and hope to see you tomorrow!

Curse of the stretch mark! The conclusion.

(the conclusion of "The Curse of the Stretch Mark!")

It's time to have your guard up. There are lots of companies out there selling stretch mark creams claiming they get rid of stretch marks. They're about as true as commercials that suggest you can make millions by working only 1 hour a week. They prey on the desperate. You're not desperate.

Then there's the companies that are honest about their products. AVON is one of those companies. Yea, I know. Here comes a sales pitch. Naturally! Why else would you have kept reading? You're looking for answers. So here we go!

AVON has a new product invented by a woman with stretch marks. Now, is she going to invent crap? 1. Not when she was looking for a way to get tame hers. 2. If you still think she'd invent crap so AVON can make a buck - you don't know women or their hate of stretch marks. LOL Besides, unlike companies you'll find at the back of muscle magazines, AVON cares about it's reputation.

Anyway, the product has a name longer than a stretch mark! Anew Clinical Professional Stretch Mark Smoother. See?

So what does it do? It stimulates collagen to correct the look of your stretch marks. It boosts elastin to prevent new marks from forming. It also has a natural plant extract called butea that helps lighten and fade your marks. It will not get rid of stretch marks. Re-read that last sentence.

When you think of AVON's money back guarantee, the fact that it's a reputable company and that you can read legitimate reviews on AVON's site, the only thing you have to lose is the embarrassment of your bear claws standing out like a sore thumb.

Better still - you can bypass the ding dong Avon lady by ordering online and it will be delivered to your house via UPS. So, what are you waiting for? Give it a shot and let me know how it went for you! You're opinion won't be wasted either. I'll be using it when I do my product reviews.

Thanks!

Yo

Curse of the stretch mark!

What's the first thing you think of when you hear the words "stretch marks"? A big, fat pregnant lady who looks like she's about to explode.

Pregnant women are the queens of stretch marks! Not! Seriously, they're not! Men and boys also have them. Take a look at about every bodybuilder on the planet - you'll find stretch marks.

Some bodybuilders see stretch marks as a right of passage, a badge of honour...until they wake up and realise stretch marks are dang ugly and mar the beauty of a bodybuilders body.

Stretch marks aren't cool and they can really effect a guys confidence. After all, no guy wants to go to the beach looking like a bear clawed him across his massive pecs, arms, legs and back.

Unfortunately, there's no way to get rid of stretch marks once you get them. So what do you do? First, how did you got them to begin with. Weightlifting! Yea, yea, yea, but how about a little more detail.

Do this. Get a rubber band and stretch it just as far as it will go without snapping. Watch the band as it stretches. Note the changes in the colour. See any striation in the bands? You may not notice them as much with a regular band, but if you use a coloured one, you'll really see it.

That's what happened to your skin when you were weightlifting. As your muscle mass grew, it stretched the elasticity in your skin to the breaking point. The skin has only so much elasticity to it. Once you go past it, you're just like the rubber band - you stretch, you snap. In this case, the snap becomes a stretch mark - a reddish or purple mark on your skin that eventually becomes a glossy streak in silver or white. They vary in appearance.

So, now we know how you got them. We know you can't get rid of them. Now what? Welp, there is hope! You might not be able to get rid of them, but you can definitely reduce their appearance so they don't stand out like a sore thumb.

Stay tuned tomorrow for the answer!

Another eBay upload!

I just posted another product on my eBay page! It's my favourite out of the Foot Works line - Watermelon Exfoliating Foot Scrub. It's awesome!

I know, the idea of exfoliating the feet sounds a bit weird. Frankly, I thought it was pretty stupid. There's also my dislike of exfoliators to begin with. I hate the gritty feel that seems to never leave my face and in this case it would be my feet.

Much to my surprise, that wasn't the case! In fact, all those little bits of watermelon seed felt like a wonderful massage on the bottom of my feet and my hands. And afterwards? oooo aaaaaahhhh! My feet were in heaven. :]

So, go over and place your bid and see what I mean! It's one of those things you'll keep using and using.

It's a freebie!

I was hoping to have my latest product finished by today, but nothing has worked out for it to happen. Like the program I using to create the eBook didn't save my work and I lost everything. *heavy sigh*

Anyway, it's a free eBook that teaches you how to pick an online business and avoid the scammers. It's pretty much based on my mistakes and mistakes other people have made.

I didn't make a lot of them, but the one's I did make really cost me. So, since I invested over $1000 in products and scams, I think I have something to say on the subject. :]

Anyways, you'll find all the questions you need to ask in order to figure out what business works best for you! Plus where to go in search of companies to be an affiliate for. You'll also get links to products that will help you get started, that are either free or cost less than $10.

The way things look at the moment, I should have it finished by sometime next week.

So, have a great weekend!

Stinky Feet and Watermelon!

Imagine your feet being on fire from an afternoons hike in very hot hiking boots. Can you feel the sweltering heat around your feet? Can you feel your feet burning? Can you feel them swelling in your boots? Is grass dying around your feet from the stench? That was my feet yesterday after going on two afternoon hikes. The first hike was voluntary. The second was because I lost a cat.

A little background on the hiking trip. I have three cats who love to hike with me: Bindi, Jeffie and Squeeky. I can't go near the hill without them running up to go on a new adventure. I love having them tag along. I'd miss a lot of things without them being my extra pairs of eyes.

The problem is, Bindi has a nasty habit of never staying with the group and this time was no exception. We were over half way home when I looked back and Bindi had vanished. I spent around 15 minutes calling him and finally surrender to the heat and thirst.

I went home, cooled down, drank, ate, pulled my stinky hiking boots back on and went in search of my little rebel. Anyway, long story short. He'd gone back to Good Medicine Camp and waited for me to find him.

Anyway, by the time we got back my feet were on fire. This was the perfect time to try out Avon's new Foot Works Watermelon Cooling Foot Lotion . All I can is my eyes closed, a little smile broke across my face and between the cool feeling on my feet and the smell of watermelon - I was in heaven. I'm so hooked. I hope they don't stop selling this one.

This is one to stash away in your pack or handbag. Don't wait until you need it. Put it on and enjoy the feeling of happy feet!

Making a Difference

Do you know who the three markets were that never suffered during the Depression? One is pretty easy to guess - alcohol. The other is fairly easy - tobacco. The third one most would never guess in a million years - the cosmetic industry!

Every time I think of that one I start laughing. So long as there is a woman alive there will always be the cosmetic industry. So long as there is a woman alive men will make sure there's a cosmetic industry and not just because they profit from it, but because some are scared stiff of what we look like without it. LOL

Now you know why I harp a lot about you becoming an Avon Rep . It's the safest business you can get in. It's also a company that you can be proud of and not just because of the products. There's Avon's Breast Cancer Crusade, Speaking Out Against Domestic Violence and Emergency and Disaster Relief programs.

Avon's philosophy is making a difference in women's lives. Empowering women. That's what you become a part of by being an Avon Rep . It's not a sales pitch, a tag line, a figure of speech, it's what it does.

As an Avon Rep:

1. There's the feeling of satisfaction of owning your own business.

2. There's the knowledge that you're providing women and their families with quality products at affordable prices.

3. And there's the knowledge and satisfaction that you're making a difference in the world by raising money and awareness through the sales of Breast Cancer Crusade and Speaking Out Against Domestic Violence products.

Unlike a lot of companies, Avon isn't just about you. It's about you and all the women around you, and that's something to want to be a part of and proud of.

Make it a great day! Check out this link: Avon Rep and start making a difference.

5 Great Gift Ideas for Father's Day!

I was doing a bit of searching on gifts for Father's Day at menstuff.og, and came across some surprising facts! Like, did you know that less time is spent on figuring out what to get dad on Father's Day than is spent on Mother's Day?

Did you know that more money is spent on Mother's Day than Father's Day and that dad usually gets the chintzier gift? I wonder why. Not sure.

Did you know that more collect calls are made on Father's Day than at any other time of year? At first I thought this was pretty pathetic, but then I remembered when my dad was still alive I did the same thing. How about you?

Did you know that the day after Father's Day your dad or husband will be asked what his family did for him on his day? Did you know his answer says a lot about his family? Did you ever stop to think that what you do for him on Father's Day says a lot to him about you? Your dad or husband may not say anything, but then dads seldom do.

So this year, let's make his day special. Let's give him a reason to brag about what his family did for him! Let's make him the envy of his co-workers!

Now, what can we do?

1. First, try paying for the phone call yourself this year. :]

2. Don't give him his millionth tie, even if it is the 3 Stooges latest.

Instead, focus on things he likes or likes to do. Does he like to lie about? Then how about a hammock! He'll love it! And so will you when he's not in it!

Or how about an MLB or NFL logo watch (138-714)!

If your dad likes to tinker with his car, he'd love this talking digital tire gauge with tread reader (401-784). After all, what guy doesn't like cool gadgets?

This Portable Tool Pouch Set (328-675) is a handy little tool kit for him to stash in the glove box of the car, at home or at work! Remember! There's no such thing as too many tools! :]

This is another excellent find! A Stud Finding Hammer (931-810)! There's a built-in sensor at the bottom front of the handle with an LED indicator light. All he has to do is slide the base along any drywall until the light goes on with a beep!

That's 5 great Father's Day gift ideas to get you started. Check back tomorrow for another 5!
