Another cool article today. When I worked at SSD/I I learned that the majority of people with diabetes are over-weight. Or to put it in a non-pc way – they’re fat.
Every time an application came in trying to get disability for diabetes, I could almost always guess the weight. I was right about 7 times out of 10.
The research mentioned in this post is about the effects of exercise on the adipose tissue (where fat is stored).
It’s a really interesting read, and might just make you want to jump up off the couch and do something.
