Why is it I'm more inclined to spray lotion on, rather than squeeze it into my hand and then apply it?

I don't know. Maybe I'm just weird, but I really like spray on lotions. I especially like it if it's Skin So Soft.

Collecting Fragrances! Can you really have too many?

So, what do you think?  Is there really such a thing as too many body mists sitting on the stand in your bedroom or in the bath?

I vote you can never have too many.  I have a number of them sitting on the shelf above my pc and in my bedroom.  I love waking up in the morning and deciding how I want to feel for the day. 

I can either choose to smell like I'm at the beach (minus the sweat) and use Tahitian (my fave) or Brazil Beat or go for something extra fruity, like MARK'S new mist line and make your own mark-tinis!  Check out some ideas here and other fragrances in the MARK and AVON line!

Let's talk feet!

This morning after my Turbulence Training workout, I was sweating like a pig and my feet were sore from doing box steps. Try this mini-workout: The box step workout and you'll see what I mean:

1. Begin with your right foot on a step.
2. Quickly switch places by hopping left foot up to the step, while returning your right foot to the floor.
3. Keep alternating until you've done 25 -100 reps.

Do 4 sets with a 1 -2 minute break in between.

I'd video tape the mini, but I look absolutely ridiculous. (grin)

AVON Product Review: Rival Crock Pot Recipes!

You're looking at one of my favourite AVON products! I ordered this awhile back because I'm:

1. A lazy cook.

2. Bored eating the same stuff.

3. A hater of doing dishes!

4. I shamefully admit my main reason - I keep forgetting I'm cooking and burn stuff or it boils over and I have a nasty mess to clean up. What I do to rice - I could be arrested.

Anyway, I'd been wanting to get a crock pot for a long time, but I didn't know any recipes I could use that would actually taste good when they were done. (I'm a lousy cook. Food poisoned myself twice this year and it's only May!)

Then, my AVON "What's New" product guide came and there was the Rival crock pot recipe box! Sounded good to me. And if I didn't like it - I could return it! Nothing lost!

I ordered it, ran out and bought a little 1.5 quart Rival crock pot and waited. Several days later, the Rival crock pot recipe box came. I carefully went over every recipe. They all looked so simple and delicious. Best of all, they were going to be cheap to make!

The first thing I made was the Winter Bean Soup. It was to die for! And I didn't get sick!

Mother's Day Gift Idea!

I have some friends who have been recording their life stories on their blogs.  I've really enjoyed reading about their lives and all the crazy things that's happened to them. 

What I keep wondering though, with every chapter I read - do their kids know these stories?

AVON Product Review: Solutions a.m./p.m. Moisture Refreshing Duo

I've been wanting to do a post on this one for a long time, but I really wanted to get a feel for it and now that I have - here we go!

This new cleanser & moisturiser is my new favourite and here's why.  The night cleanser is soft and soothing.  I relax every time I wash with it.  It not only cleanses, but it's also a make-up remover!

The day cleanser has more of a wake-me-up feel.  It's suds up just enough to perk you and make you feel like you've washed away all the night-time grunge. 

The moisturisers have the same effect as the cleansers.  The night-time moisturiser has a soothing, satiny feel.

The day moisturiser lets you know it's time to start the day.  It glides on great and like I said before with the cleanser - perks you up.

Both are excellent moisturisers for dry skin.  My skin stays nice and soft all day, without the dry patches that I normally get a few hours after putting on a day or night cream.
